What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapist provide treatment to children who have difficulties performing their daily activities. These daily activities may include but are not limited to, self-help skills (dressing, feeding), play skills and motor skills. At L.E.A.F. we complete comprehensive evaluations to assess areas of need and gather input from families to create child-centered treatment plans. Treatment sessions include play-based therapy that centers on increasing participation and goal attainment.
Our Mission
L.E.A.F. is here to make a difference in the lives of children affected with developmental challenges. Occupational therapy helps increase children's participation in meaningful activities that are play based and fun. Through a holistic approach of inclusion of family goals and needs we hope to foster an environment of growth beyond bounds.
